Seventeen has taken over a popular Disney program in the United States, marking a glamorous end to the year. On the 11th (local time), ABC announced that “Seventeen will be the first K-pop artist to appear on ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’, airing on the 25th.”

This parade is one of the most popular holiday season programs in the United States, airing during prime time on December 25th each year. It features a two-hour showcase of parades with beloved Disney characters and performances by legendary pop stars.

This year, Seventeen has been listed alongside artists like Elton John and John Legend. They are set to perform a solo stage with “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” The program will be hosted by Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro from ABC’s long-running dance competition show “Dancing with the Stars.”

Earlier this month, Seventeen also made a strong impression on local viewers by becoming the first K-pop artist to feature in ABC’s “The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular.” They are proving their elevated status in North America and are set to challenge for the ‘Top K-pop Touring Artist’ category at the ‘2024 Billboard Music Awards’ held in the US on the 12th.

They will also perform the title track “Love, Money, Fame” from their 12th mini-album. Meanwhile, Seventeen continues their world tour. They previously sold out performances at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya and Tokyo Dome in Japan, captivating an audience of 190,000. Their tour will continue at Kyocera Dome Osaka and Fukuoka PayPay Dome.
