SEVENTEEN presents the most new songs ever.
Pledis Entertainment uploaded a video of the tracklist for their fifth studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' on SEVENTEEN's official SNS on the 13th.
The video is about 50 seconds long. Carat (the fandom name) was invited to a SEVENTEEN party and later discovered stickers with the titles of the new songs in a phone booth.
The new album consists of a total of 16 tracks, including 3 group songs and individual songs from all 13 members. This marks the highest number of new songs in any of SEVENTEEN's albums to date.
The title track 'THUNDER' is a song likening those who have been reborn to thunder and lightning. Woozi and Bumzu penned and composed the song, with contributions from S.Coups as well.
'HBD' is an abbreviation for 'Happy Birthday.' As SEVENTEEN is celebrating their 10th anniversary, anticipation is building for their rebirth.
Another group song, 'Bad Influence,' was written, composed, and produced by Grammy-winning producer Pharrell Williams.
There is also keen interest in the solo songs. This is the first time that all members’ individual songs are included in the new album. The8 performed 'Skyfall.'
Joshua delivered 'Fortunate Change,' Wonwoo performed '99.9%', Seungkwan sang 'Raindrops,' and Hoshi took on 'Damage.'
Mingyu contributed with 'Shake It Off,' DK with 'Happy Virus,' Woozi with 'Destiny,' and Vernon with 'Shining Star.'
Additionally, Jun showcased 'Gemini,' Dino performed 'Trigger,' Jeonghan with 'Accident,' and S.Coups with 'Jungle' among others to embellish the new album.
'HAPPY BURSTDAY' is an album in which several members, led by Woozi and Bumzu, took an active role. Their names are credited for the new songs, enhancing the musical completeness.
Collaborations were also conducted with domestic and international producers, including not only Pharrell Williams but also Timbaland, Pdogg, Vincenzo, and even singer Ha Hyun-sang.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to release 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' on the 26th. Prior to that, they will hold a 'Burst Stage' above the Jamsu Bridge in Seoul on the 25th.
