'Seventeen's' Seungkwan practiced talent donation for a public service advertisement.

On the 17th, the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province released a video for the 'Promise with Jeju' campaign on YouTube. The campaign will be broadcast nationwide and on outdoor electronic billboards in Jeju and Seoul starting on the 18th, as well as through radio.

Seungkwan participated to promote his hometown, Jeju. An official stated, "Seungkwan took time out of his busy schedule to join us. His bright energy blended harmoniously with the scenery of Jeju, adding vibrancy to the campaign."

The campaign was created to spread the correct values of traveling to Jeju and promote sustainable travel culture. Seungkwan, who has always shown a unique love for Jeju, infused affection into the project.

He also shared his feelings about the talent donation on this day. "I am grateful and rewarded to be able to contribute to sharing the true beauty and value of Jeju with the world," he emphasized. He added his support for the campaign, saying, "I will always cheer for Jeju to become a city where the environment and tourism coexist harmoniously." He conveyed positive energy.

Seungkwan has continued his charity activities in various ways. Last month, he donated 20 million KRW to the Korean Heritage Administration and the National Trust for Cultural Heritage, asking it to be used to protect Jeju's heritage.

In November last year, he was appointed as a promotional ambassador for Jeju, and through the Jeju provincial office, he donated to the Hometown Love Donation Fund, greatly contributing to the protection of the southern resident orca, a species classified as endangered.

At the 2023 '13th UNESCO Youth Forum,' Jeju garnered attention as it became the first region in the world to be designated by UNESCO in three categories related to the natural environment simultaneously. Seventeen was uniquely assigned a special session at this event as the first K-pop artist. Last year, they were appointed as UNESCO's first youth goodwill ambassadors and have been taking the lead in social contribution activities.
