Seunghan from 'RIIZE' wrote a handwritten letter to fans ahead of his return. It has been 10 months since he halted activities.
SM Entertainment announced on the 11th that Seunghan would be rejoining RIIZE. Following this, Seunghan released a handwritten letter expressing, "I want to sincerely apologize to the members and the fans."
"When pictures of me before debut were revealed, I was disappointed and regretful of myself. I couldn't fathom how the members and fans must have felt," Seunghan confessed.
Controversies regarding Seunghan's private life arose immediately after his debut, as someone persistently spread personal videos and photos of him from before his debut. As a result, he had to stop his activities in less than three months after debuting.
He reflected, "I apologize to the fans who supported me from the start and to those who were hurt by my immature actions. I was also sorry to the members who I should have progressed with together."
Seunghan also felt significant frustration. "I was sorry about the situation and felt despair over not being able to be with them."
His uncertainties about the future deepened. "Can I stand on stage again?" and "Can I continue making music?"
However, the six members of RIIZE extended their hands. Seunghan expressed gratitude, saying, "I was thinking more realistically at that time, and amidst that, the members once again held my hand."
"It must have been a very difficult decision for them, but I'm only thankful and sorry that they gave me another chance," he said affectionately.
He promised to give his best for RIIZE in the future. "While feeling the pressure and certainly some fear, I thought I must work harder and do well as much as you trust in me," he emphasized.
In conclusion, he pledged, "I will strive to be a responsible and good member so as not to overshadow the achievements that the members have built up and become an indispensable presence in the team RIIZE."
