
Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson will visit South Korea for the first time in about eight years. The distribution company Universal Pictures announced the promotional plan for the film "Jurassic World: New Beginnings" (directed by Gareth Edwards) through a YouTube video on the 11th.
Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and director Gareth Edwards will visit Korea on the 1st of next month. They will participate in a schedule to promote the new film. Johansson stated, “There’s a surprise. I want to meet the wonderful Korean fans, so I'm coming to Korea as part of the 'Jurassic World' global tour. Let's meet in Korea on July 1st.”
She also hinted at appearing on Korean entertainment shows. On that day, Johansson appeared in a video message for tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," saying, “I can’t wait to meet you all.”
This will be her second visit to Korea. Johansson first came to Korea in 2017 for the film "Ghost in the Shell." After eight years, she is making a return.
"Jurassic World: New Beginnings" is the seventh installment of the "Jurassic Park" series and the fourth film in the "Jurassic World" franchise. It reveals the truth behind the secret laboratory of Jurassic Park.
Meanwhile, "Jurassic World: New Beginnings" will be released domestically on the 2nd of next month.
