The 'Seventeen' special unit HoshiXWoozi has proved their album power.
According to the album sales tracking site Hunter Chart, HoshiXWoozi topped the daily album chart the day before, on the 11th, with their first single album 'BEAM.'
The title track 'Same Age' climbed to the top of the Bugs real-time chart immediately after its release. It also entered the rankings on Melon's 'Top 100' and Genie real-time chart.
They’ve captivated a global audience as well. The duo ranked in the iTunes 'Top Song' charts in 17 countries/regions. The included track 'Pinocchio' also made it into the 'Top 10' in 10 countries/regions.
Foreign media outlets have taken notice as well. Rolling Stone reported, "HoshiXWoozi is a duo that fans have been waiting for a long time." People introduced them as "outstanding creative planners."
It was further noted, "The commonality between Hoshi and Woozi is their insatiable passion and near obsession for music. They are a perfect match for each other’s madness."
HoshiXWoozi expressed, "We want to shine again for you with the light we received from our fans," adding, "We hope our music and stage can bring you a little happiness."
Meanwhile, HoshiXWoozi will showcase their new song performances on various music broadcasts, starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 13th.
