‘Sahul’ Opens on November 14…K-Occult Attracts International Attention

The movie 'Three Days' (Director Hyun Moon-Seop) has confirmed its release date. Distributor Showbox announced on the 22nd that "the movie 'Three Days' is set to be released on the 14th of next month." They also shared the international trailer and viewing points for 'Three Days,' which have caught the attention of foreign media.

The film industry magazine 'Variety' reported the release news on the 21st, introducing the synopsis of 'Three Days' and highlighting its thrilling story.

The focus was on the solid filmography of the main actors. "Featuring Park Shin-yang from 'Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho' and 'Man on the Edge,' Lee Min-ki from 'My Liberation Notes' and 'Temperature of Love,' and Lee Re from 'Peninsula' and 'Hellbound,' they lead the cast."

The investment and distribution company Showbox's track record with occult hits was also mentioned. "Despite tough times for the Korean cinema market, 'The Cursed' achieved over $84 million at the Korean box office," it highlighted.

The Showbox overseas team commented, "Interest in the Korean-style occult genre is focusing on 'Three Days' due to the domestic and international success of 'The Cursed.' During the recent Busan Film Market, inquiries from overseas buyers continued."

'Three Days' is an occult horror film. It portrays events that occur during the three days of a funeral, where an exorcism takes place to prevent something from awakening in the heart of the deceased daughter. It stars Park Shin-yang, Lee Min-ki, and Lee Re.
