Ryu Jun-yeol leaves C-JeS for UAA… “Becomes family with Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong”

Actor Ryu Jun-yeol has signed an exclusive contract with UAA.

On the 25th, UAA announced, "Ryu Jun-yeol has become our new family member. He is an exceptional actor with outstanding acting skills and a distinct personality. We will do our best to support him so that he can showcase his true talents and soar even higher."

Ryu Jun-yeol made a strong impression in 2015 with his film 'Socialphobia.' He then caught the attention of viewers through tvN's 'Reply 1988,' where he received praise for his performance that conveyed a variety of emotions.

Since then, he has been actively working across various genres. Following his role in the 2017 film 'The King,' he attracted 12.18 million viewers with 'A Taxi Driver.' He has also stood out in the film industry with works such as 'Drug King,' 'Money,' 'Battle of Bongodo,' and 'Night in Paradise.'

In 2017, he swept several rookie awards including the Male Rookie Award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2023, he received the Best Actor Award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in the film 'Night in Paradise.'

Recently, he portrayed the insane pastor 'Sung Min-chan' in Netflix's 'The Cursed.' His intense acting has been highly praised for enhancing the immersion of the story. His next project is Netflix's 'The Mouse,' where he will create acting synergy with Sol Kyung-gu.
