BLACKPINK's Rosé is making a comeback with her first solo studio album.
The Black Label announced on the 2nd, "Rosé will release her new album on December 6. She will start her full-fledged activities with her first solo studio album."
The album cover image was also revealed. It captured Rosé with blonde hair. Her lovely wavy hair and rosy makeup caught attention.
The title of the new album was also shared in advance. It is 'Rosie.' As it derives from her English name, it raised expectations for her musical identity.
It has been about 3 years and 9 months since Rosé released a solo album. In March 2021, she released her first solo single 'R,' which sold over 440,000 copies in its first week.
'Rosie' includes a total of 12 tracks. Rosé participated in writing and composing all the tracks in the new album. She offers a more honest and intimate story of herself.
Global popularity is expected. With her solo single title track 'On The Ground,' Rosé topped the Billboard 'Global 200.'
That's not all. She also holds the record for the highest-ranking position (K-pop female artist) on Billboard's main song chart. The song ranked 70th on the 'Hot 100.'
Meanwhile, Rosé will release 'Rosie' on December 6, and pre-orders will start on the same day.
