
'Blackpink' Rosé has been nominated in eight categories at the American music awards, setting the record for the most nominations for a K-pop artist.
The '2025 MTV Video Music Awards' (VMA) announced the list of nominees on their website on the 6th (Korean time). A total of 25 categories were unveiled.
Rosé appears in seven categories with the duet 'Apartment' (APT.) featuring pop star Bruno Mars. She has been nominated for 'Video of the Year', 'Song of the Year', and more.
This song is also nominated for 'Best Collaboration', 'Best Pop', 'Best K-Pop', 'Best Direction', 'Best Art Direction', and 'Best Visual Effects'.
Her achievements don’t end there. The track 'Toxic Till the End' from her solo debut album 'Rosie' has been nominated in the 'Best K-Pop' category.
On this day, Rosé shared her excitement on social media, saying, "I just heard that I am nominated in eight categories at the VMA. I’m shocked and don’t know what to say."
Meanwhile, in the VMA 'Best K-Pop' category, all members of Blackpink, including Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa, have also made the list with their solo songs.
