'BLACKPINK' Rosé is sweeping global charts in Japan, the UK, and the US.
Billboard Japan revealed its mid-year rankings on the 7th (covering the period from November 25, 2024, to May 25, 2025). Her song 'Apartment' secured the 2nd position on the 'Hot 100' chart.
On the overall album chart, 'Hot Albums,' Rosé's first full-length album 'Rosie' debuted at 7th place, marking the highest position for a K-pop artist. She is receiving immense love from local fans.
The UK Official Chart also released its latest rankings on the 7th (Korean time). Rosé’s 'Apartment' (APT.) claimed the 31st position on the Official Singles Chart 'Top 100.'
It has been ranked for an astonishing 33 weeks in a row. After first entering the chart at 4th place on October 4 of last year, it has reached a peak position of 2nd. Following 6 consecutive weeks at 2nd, Rosé has maintained her spot in the top ranks.
The US scene is equally heated. Music industry insiders believe that 'Apartment' is likely to remain on the Billboard Main Singles Chart 'Hot 100' for 33 consecutive weeks. Rosé is on the verge of setting a new record.
The longest chart duration for K-pop on the 'Hot 100' belongs to BTS's Jimin with his song 'Who.' If Rosé makes it to the chart, she will tie this record.
Meanwhile, Rosé will begin full activities with BLACKPINK in July.
