The documentary film of 'BTS' RM has been invited to the Busan International Film Festival.
"RM: Right People, Wrong Place" (Director Lee Seok-joon) has been selected as an official invitee for the Open Cinema section at the 29th Busan International Film Festival.
Busan International Film Festival's Open Cinema section showcases new and internationally recognized works that have both artistic value and popular appeal.
The screening will take place at the outdoor theater of Busan Cinema Center. This is the first time a K-pop documentary film has been officially invited to the Open Cinema section.
On the 3rd, RM released a special poster on BTS's official SNS to commemorate the film festival invitation. The poster features RM in deep thought and walking down a street casually.
"RM: Right People, Wrong Place" is a documentary film that captures the making of RM's second solo album "Right Place, Long Person," released last May.
The film documents the approximately 8-month production process of his second solo album. It includes candid interviews with RM, chronicling his relentless self-exploration between being an artist and an individual named Kim Nam-joon. The film carries a profound message. The title signifies the journey of finding one's true self and the right place when the boundaries between "right" and "wrong" blur.
The film's visual elegance is also noteworthy. Directed by Lee Seok-joon, who participated in the production of J-Hope's "Arson" and "More" music videos, the documentary presents scenes reminiscent of an art film.
