"Depicts scenes of vibrant youth that transcend the ordinary." (NME)
RIIZE’s prologue single 'Impossible' has garnered attention from major foreign media and has been selected as a standout K-pop song of the first half of this year.
Billboard recently announced 'The 20 Best K-Pop Songs of 2024: Critics' Picks’, with RIIZE included in the list.
Billboard described 'Impossible' as "a song mixed with intense Euro house beats and hopeful vocals. It evokes a sense of urgency and determination."
They further detailed, "It is one of the most inspiring K-pop songs of the year. It stands out even more with the swiftly rotating kicking point choreography."
British magazine NME also selected 'Impossible' as one of the 'The 15 best K-pop songs of 2024 – so far'.
NME stated, "RIIZE depicts scenes of vibrant youth in their music, transcending the ordinary," and added, "The enchanting house track leads one into a summer daydream."
'Impossible' garnered attention from various media such as Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, and Euphoria when it was released last April. It has accumulated more than 20 million streams on Spotify.
The single was released ahead of their first mini-album in April. The members took on house music for the first time, adding a mysterious atmosphere with rhythmic beats and synthesizers.
Meanwhile, RIIZE will hold the '2024 RIIZE Fancon – Rising Day Finale in Seoul' at KSPO Dome in Songpa District, Seoul, on September 14-15.
