SM Entertainment artists reinterpret classic songs.
SM will release the album "SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE" on the 14th at 6 PM to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
The new album features 17 tracks in total, including 'Thank You,' a new group song and the title track, along with legendary SM hit songs remade by junior artists.
Details about the remakes have also been revealed. EXO revisited H.O.T.'s 'Git It Up!' blending electronic metal dance and rap-making.
Red Velvet reimagined Girls' Generation's 'Run Devil Run.' The reinterpretation harmonizes dynamic piano, signature bell sounds, and the members' vocal blend.
NCT 127 gave a modern twist to Hyun Jin-young's 'In My Fading Memory,' arranged in the glitch hop genre to emphasize a sophisticated vibe.
The RISE version of 'Hug' is also included. Originally by TVXQ, the debut song has been remade by RISE with a Y2K sensibility and trendy sound, adding their unique flair.
Meanwhile, the 30th anniversary album of SM is currently available for pre-order at online and offline music stores.
