RIIZE achieved significant success in Spotify Korea’s year-end awards. On the 7th, Spotify released the ‘2024 Wrapped’. RIIZE’s mini 1st album, ‘RIIZING’, ranked 6th in the most-streamed albums domestically. This is the highest ranking among K-pop boy group albums this year. BTS’s Jimin’s second solo album ‘Muse’ took the top spot, and Jungkook’s first solo album ‘Golden’ secured second place.
RIIZE also made it onto the ‘2024 Top RADAR Korea Song’. ‘Impossible’ was the most played in the related playlist. It wasn’t just music platforms that took notice; they also gained attention from major global media.
They were recognized in Billboard’s ’25 Best K-pop Songs of 2024: Staff Picks’ for ‘Impossible’. The UK’s NME also ranked ‘Impossible’ as the 7th best K-pop song of 2024, the highest for any K-pop boy group. It praised RIIZE’s youthful energy.
Dazed introduced RIIZE as “the brightest new star in K-pop” and selected them as one of the “DAZED 100” in the music category for the Asia region. Meanwhile, RIIZE will appear on ‘2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon’ on the 31st.
