'Taxi Driver' resumes its service, returning this fall with Season 3. The production team of SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3' (written by Oh Sang-ho, directed by Kang Bo-seung) announced on the 6th that 'Taxi Driver 3' has been officially scheduled for SBS's programming this fall.
'Taxi Driver' is a series about private revenge services, based on a webtoon of the same name. Seasons 1 and 2 aired in 2021 and 2023, achieving double-digit viewership ratings. The unique concept captivated the audience, with the storyline of a taxi driver hunting down villains, moral retribution endings, and dynamic action adding to the fun.
The chemistry among the members of 'Rainbow Transport' is a key highlight. Their bond has grown stronger with each season. Kim Do-gi's (played by Lee Je-hoon) variety of personas is also a visual treat.
In this season, the complete team of 'Rainbow Transport' can be seen once again. Lee Je-hoon, along with Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram, rejoin for 'Taxi Driver 3'. The collaboration of top-tier production members also raises expectations. Writer Oh Sang-ho continues from previous works, and director Kang Bo-seung of the drama 'Dr. Romantic 3' joins the team.
A representative stated, "We are doing our utmost to show appreciation for the love the viewers have shown. The actors are ready to showcase top-notch teamwork." They added, "We will ensure to deliver an exhilarating experience that demonstrates why the 'Taxi Driver' series is the epitome of a 'Korean-style caper drama'. We ask for your anticipation."
Meanwhile, 'Taxi Driver 3' will be available for viewing this fall on SBS.
