Philopon Administration 'New Male Alliance' Representative Sent to Prosecution

The representative of the anti-feminist group 'New Male Alliance' has been sent to prosecution on charges of using the drug 'philopon.'

On the 12th, the Incheon Central Police Station announced that they sent A (35 years old), the representative of 'New Male Alliance', to prosecution after being booked without detention for violating the Narcotics Control Act.

A is accused of using philopon in a motel in Jung-gu, Incheon on May 24.

The police arrested A the following day as a flagrant offender at his residence, with a preliminary drug test returning positive results.

Alleged Drug Purchase via 'Throwing' Method

During the investigation, A reportedly stated that he purchased drugs through Telegram.

The police believe that an unidentified individual hid the drugs in a specific location and informed the buyer of the location, delivering the drugs to A using a method known as 'throwing.'

The police have not found any evidence that A used drugs prior to this incident.

Previously, on May 27, the court dismissed the arrest warrant for A, stating that "the matter is not trivial," but also "it cannot be said that there is a risk of evidence destruction or flight."
