Iceman 24 PB Ice Cup Exceeds Bacterial Standards… Sales Suspension and Recall Actions
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has detected bacteria exceeding standards in the private brand (PB) ice cup products sold at Iceman 24, leading to a sales suspension and recall actions.
On the 16th, the Ministry announced through an official statement that the bacterial count in the "Ipresso Ice Cup" product, manufactured by Blue Pine Co., Ltd. and sold by Iceman 24, was deemed non-compliant with the standards set by the Food Sanitation Act.

The recall targets the 180g units manufactured on May 28, 2025, and the Ministry has assigned a recall grade of 3 based on their findings of non-compliance with the bacterial count standards.
Recall grade 3 refers to cases where minor violations of the Food Sanitation Act necessitate a recall.
The Ministry requested sellers who have the affected products in stock to immediately suspend sales and return the items to the manufacturer, Blue Pine Co., Ltd.
Furthermore, consumers who have already purchased the product are also being asked to return it to the place of purchase to assist with the recall.

Iceman 24 States "Supplied Only to Certain Stores in the Capital Area… Immediate Disposal Actions Taken"
Regarding this incident, Iceman 24 announced that the affected ice cups were supplied only to a limited number of stores in the capital area.
They also explained that, immediately after the investigation results from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety were released, disposal instructions were given to those stores.
