Psy recalled his memories with the late Shin Hae-chul. MBC-TV broadcasted a special episode titled 'Our Brother, Shin Hae-chul' on the 4th. Musicians who were close to the deceased, such as Psy, Boohwal's Kim Tae-won, Yoon Sang, Hong Kyung-min, Shinhwa's Kim Dong-wan, Peppertones, and Guckkasten, made appearances in large numbers.

On this day, Psy reminisced, "This brother was a musician, singer, composer, and producer, but he was also an amazing engineer," adding, "He handled and managed sound really well. He taught me strictly."

He expressed gratitude towards Shin Hae-chul, saying, "That became a great nutrient for me to get to where I am today," and smiled. He recalled a warm moment with the deceased, "There is a memorable warm moment," he began.

It was the moment Psy met Shin Hae-chul at the concert venue. He recalled, "Before going on stage, I shook hands with him and he held my hand and said, 'You seem to have indigestion,' then gave a hand acupressure. He was a very affectionate brother."

He talked about Shin Hae-chul's final moments. Psy, with a somber expression, said, "(Brother was) in the intensive care unit, and I went to say goodbye. It was a shocking event of my lifetime, and I went through a very tough time."

Since Shin Hae-chul's passing, Psy has consistently paid tribute to him in his performances. He has been expressing his condolences to Shin Hae-chul through songs like 'Friend,' 'Infinite Track,' and 'Dream' at his concerts.

Shin Hae-chul underwent laparoscopic gastrointestinal adhesion removal and stomach reduction surgery on October 17, 2014. He passed away on October 27, the same year, 10 days after showing symptoms of peritonitis.

At the time, suspicions of medical malpractice regarding Shin Hae-chul's cause of death arose. Last May, the Supreme Court upheld the original sentence of one year in prison for the director who performed Shin Hae-chul's surgery, acknowledging death due to medical negligence.

Meanwhile, 'Our Brother, Shin Hae-chul' is a program featuring Shin Hae-chul's musical achievements and personal aspects. It is a memorial special documentary prepared for the 10th anniversary of his passing. The second part airs today.
