BTS's RM sent New Year greetings.
RM posted a new message on Weverse on the 1st. "Dearly beloved, did you have a good Lunar New Year? Did you have tteokguk? I can't believe I am already thirty-two in Korean age," he began.
He also shared some exciting news: he has been promoted to sergeant. "Sergeant Kim! Probably all four of us have been promoted early, so we are now all sergeants. It's satisfying, but they say military life is just beginning. I'm so happy that the next rank is civilian," he said.
He reflected on the past year. "It was an overwhelming year in many ways. Whether good or bad, I think it will remain in my memory for a long time. Still, seeing two of the members out there working hard makes me envious but thankful," he said with satisfaction.
He continued, "As civilian Kim Nam-joon, there is so much I want to share when I return. There are things difficult to say right now, too. Someday, I'll have the opportunity to convey them in my own way."
RM will be discharged on June 10. "It's already February, only about four months left. As always, I'm exercising here, playing instruments, listening to music on weekends, watching movies, studying, and preparing to return," he said.
He also shared a selfie for the fans, ARMY. "I shaved my head once more to commemorate becoming a sergeant. The photo was taken before I shaved my head. Somehow, I'm doing okay, so don't worry too much," he reassured.
