Pro Football Player Under Investigation for Sexual Assault Allegations

It's been revealed that A, a player from the professional football club Daejeon Hana Citizen, is under police investigation for sexual harassment allegations.

According to a report by Yonhap News on the 20th, A is facing charges of forcible molestation, rape, and violations of the Act on the Prevention of Sexual Violence and the Protection of Victims (recording using cameras and other devices). The investigation began after a complaint was filed at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul last April.

The Gangnam Police Station conducted an investigation of the victim on the 6th of last month and is reported to have recently summoned A for questioning.

The victim claims that they were forcibly molested by A in a hotel in Gangnam in September last year, and three months later, in December, they were allegedly raped in another hotel in Gangnam.

Evidence Submission and Investigation Progress

It has been reported that the victim submitted various pieces of evidence to the police, including SNS messages exchanged with A on Instagram, recorded conversations, and medical records, in addition to the initial complaint.
