Online Misinformation Alert
As posts selling 'commemorative watches for President Lee Jae-myung' spread online, the presidential office has officially addressed the issue and urged the public to be cautious.
On the 20th, spokesperson Kang Yu-jeong made it clear through a written briefing that this information is not true.

Spokesperson Kang stated, "Recently, false information about the sale of commemorative watches for President Lee Jae-myung has been rampant," and emphasized, "The presidential commemorative watch is currently in the planning stage for production and is not a product for sale."
She added, "We would like you to be cautious regarding any fraudulent sales of presidential watches."
Status of Presidential Souvenir Production
Previously, there were media reports that President Lee Jae-myung had instructed to halt the production of gift watches.
In response, the presidential office explained, "The President has requested to find popular gift items, including watches," and "The items will be produced as presidential gifts."

Currently, the presidential commemorative watch is not officially for sale and is in the planning stage for production.
As online scams diversify, special attention from the public is required regarding false sales information using presidential-related souvenirs.
