President Lee Jae-myung reports on what he has done through social media and listens to the public’s policy ideas and suggestions.

The SNS of President Lee Jae-myung has transformed into a platform for citizens' policy proposals.

President Lee Jae-myung's X (formerly Twitter) account is actively functioning as a channel for gathering national policy ideas.

On the 8th, after President Lee posted a message stating, "If you provide fresh and beneficial opinions, I will actively review and incorporate them in the future," the post received over 4,300 comments.

As of the 16th, the number of comments on this post is significantly higher compared to the approximately 1,000 comments typically received on President Lee's general posts on X.

Notably, the majority of the responses consist of specific and feasible policy proposals rather than simple expressions of political support or opposition.

**Various Citizen Proposals from Labor Rights to Protection of Social Minorities**

Among the comments, there were particularly many suggestions regarding the improvement of labor conditions.

One citizen pointed out the unclear management of working hours in the IT industry, stating, "Countless small and subcontracted companies operate by replacing people without ever offering weekend allowances or overtime pay," and requested the abolition of the comprehensive wage system.

Another netizen emphasized the need for full application of labor standards laws, particularly provisions related to workplace harassment, even in businesses with fewer than five employees.

Proposals for policies to protect women and social minorities were also prominent.

Referencing a dating murder case that occurred in Daegu’s Dalseo District on the 10th, one opinion stated, "Recognize dating violence as 'misogynistic violence' and demand related measures."

Voices urging the establishment of anti-discrimination laws, non-consensual rape laws, abortion laws, and the introduction of cohabitation partner laws for the protection of social minorities continued.

**Vibrant Proposals for Community-Linked Policies and Environmental Protection**

A number of policies directly related to daily life were also submitted.

There was a suggestion to "Strengthen electric scooter laws. Many citizens are getting hurt by the ones thrown carelessly on the street" and a proposal stating, "It would be great to have strong measures regarding personal data security."

Proposals concerning environmental and ecological protection also gained attention.

One netizen emphasized, "Water leisure activities occurring in the habitat of the Jeju's Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin pose a threat to the dolphins," stating, "Please protect the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins. Human recreation should not take precedence over life."

In the medical field, there was a desperate appeal suggesting, "There needs to be more attention on marginalized cancer patients. Many families have to weigh money against life even when treatment options are available," alongside a proposal stating, "I would appreciate it if you could work on reducing pet medical costs."
