President Lee Jae-myung announces the 5-Year National Policy Plan… "Creating a country where the people are the masters"
On the 13th, President Lee Jae-myung stated regarding the '5-Year National Policy Plan' announced by the National Planning Committee, "We will create a country where the people are the masters, a true Republic of Korea."
President Lee made this remark while attending the National Planning Committee's citizen report event held at the Blue House State Guesthouse, stating, "Today, we present the blueprint for the Republic of Korea's next five years."

The President emphasized that the future direction of national administration will adopt "politics where the people unite, moving beyond conflict and opposition towards a path of integration."
He added, "We will promote an innovative economy and pursue balanced growth that shares the fruits of our progress," and stated his commitment to building a 'strong social foundation protecting the lives of the people,' while firmly upholding national interests through pragmatic diplomacy on the international stage.
The national policy plan is not a finalized policy but subject to modification through gathering public opinion
President Lee promised, "We will carefully and swiftly review the plan prepared by the National Planning Committee and implement it to the fullest extent possible," and assured, "We will enhance the public's perception of policy effectiveness and make all processes transparently available to the citizens."
However, he clarified, "The plan from the National Planning Committee is not a finalized policy. It can be modified through various channels to gather opinions from the public and various sectors," and urged, "I hope many will share their views."

Meanwhile, President Lee remarked, "Reflecting on the past two months since our launch without a transition committee, it feels like rolling down a mountainside," emphasizing, "We have done our best to respond to pressing issues and revive the Republic of Korea that is collapsing."
Additionally, he stated, "We have struggled for the recovery of people's livelihoods, political restoration, and the revival of diplomacy, and aimed to establish a true people's sovereignty government," and evaluated, "Thanks to everyone's efforts, the normalization of the Republic of Korea is gradually being paved."
The President affirmed, "Even amidst unprecedented national crises, it was the support and backing of the citizens that allowed us to navigate through difficulties," and pledged, "Moving forward, I will continue to rely on the people and strive to create a beneficial world for them."
