President Lee Jae-myung sent a message of congratulations for the South Korean national soccer team’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup.
On the 6th, President Lee posted a message on his Facebook with the title "Congratulations on qualifying for the World Cup." He stated, "I hope the achievements of the national team during these challenging times provide great comfort to our people."
President Lee particularly emphasized that qualifying for the World Cup for the 11th consecutive time is an achievement accomplished by only six countries worldwide and is the first of its kind in Asia.
