Police Officer Found Dead from Gunshot Wound Inside Patrol Car in Gumi
A police officer working in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, was found dead from a gunshot wound inside a patrol car.
According to the North Gyeongsang Provincial Police Agency and related authorities, at around 8:50 AM on the 3rd, Officer A, affiliated with the Gumi Police Station, was discovered inside a patrol car parked in front of the local police station, dead from a gunshot wound.
The officer was found by colleagues, who immediately reported the incident.
Upon investigation of the scene, it was reported that no signs of criminal activity or relevant evidence were found. The police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances of death.
