Playb has reached the number one spot on major charts as soon as they debuted in Japan.

According to the latest Oricon tally (as of the 8th), Playb's first Japanese single "Kakurenbo" (かくれんぼ) topped the "Daily Single Ranking," proving its local popularity. The debut album sparked a strong response right after its release, recording 190,801 points solely from Oricon's counting agency.

"Kakurenbo" includes three Japanese songs: the original track of the same name, along with Japanese versions of "RIZZ" and "Chroma Drift."

Previously, Playb held a pre-release event for their music on the 16th of last month and hosted a debut showcase in Tokyo on the 17th. They also conducted a pop-up store in Shibuya.

Meanwhile, Playb is preparing for their first Asia tour, set to kick off in Seoul's K-SPORTS DOME from the 15th to the 17th of next month with "DASH: Quantum Leap."
