Flav has surpassed 1 billion streams on Melon, setting a record for the shortest time to achieve this milestone. According to domestic music platform Melon, Flav reached a total of 1,000,362,000 streams on the 17th, entering the 'Melon Hall of Fame' Billions Club.
The 'Melon Hall of Fame' is a section that certifies albums and artists that have surpassed certain streaming numbers on Melon. It is divided into the Millions Album and Billions Club.
Flav is a virtual group that debuted on March 12 last year. They qualified for the Billions Club in just 494 days after their debut, breaking the previous record by 4 days.
Flav also achieved remarkable results in the Melon 2024 mid-year report. Their 2nd mini-album 'Asterum 134-1' topped the Millions Album category.
The title track 'WAY 4 LUV' was streamed 132.42 million times from January to June, making it the most-streamed song among all the artist releases.
Meanwhile, Flav is set to debut in Japan, having signed a collaboration with HYBE Japan.
