Playb has conquered local charts with their Japanese single album.

On the 17th, Oricon released the latest 'Weekly Combined Single Rankings' (counting period: 7th to 13th). Playb took the number one spot with their first Japanese single 'Kakurenbo' (かくれんぼ).

With a weekly point total of 221,000, it's the highest record of the year. They also dominated the previously announced 'Weekly Single Rankings,' marking the best first-week sales by a foreign artist this year.

On the 16th, they achieved number one on Billboard Japan's 'Top Single Sales' chart, 'Billboard Japan Top 100,' and 'Billboard Japan Hot 100.' They accomplished a four-crown achievement on major local charts.

Playb wrapped up their music release and debut showcase on the 16th of last month. They have officially started their activities, proving their high popularity by dominating major charts in Japan after their debut.

The domestic response is also enthusiastic. On the first day of the music release, they entered Melon's 'Hall of Fame' (awarded to albums that surpass 1 million streams within 24 hours of release) for the first time with a Japanese language release.

This new album contains a total of three songs. The title track 'Kakurenbo' is the members' first original Japanese song. The band sound of Playb has been reinterpreted in a Japanese style.

Additionally, they included songs that have been newly translated into Japanese lyrics. 'RIZZ' (RIZZ-Japanese Ver.) and 'Chroma Drift' are also included.

Meanwhile, Playb will hold a concert in Seoul at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park from the 15th to the 17th of next month. This will mark the start of their first Asian tour in two years, titled 'Dash: Quantum Leap.'
