PlayV has gained momentum for their Japan debut. They will be supported by HYBE Japan.
On the 9th, Blast announced their collaboration with HYBE Japan. They stated, "Through the agreement between both parties, PlayV's entry into the Japanese market will officially begin."
They will leverage HYBE Japan's local expertise. "It is expected that PlayV will be able to carry out highly polished activities in Japan," they added.
With this collaboration, HYBE Japan will be responsible for PlayV's overall activities in Japan. They will support not only their debut but also their ongoing activities in Japan.
A representative stated, "This is the largest contract with an artist outside of HYBE Labels," and explained, "PlayV's potential has been highly evaluated."
Blast confirmed, "We plan to actively promote PlayV's activities in Japan through active collaboration and communication with HYBE Japan."
PlayV is a virtual boy group consisting of five members. They debuted in March of last year and their popularity has been rapidly increasing, especially in South Korea and Asia.
In particular, they have gained significant popularity in Japan. Their second mini-album 'Asterum 134-1' ranked first in K-pop sales at a certain Japanese record store for the first half of 2024.
Meanwhile, the schedule for PlayV's activities in Japan has not yet been released.
