Pengsoo and Peng Club Donate 16.3 Million Won to Children Affected by Wildfires
EBS's popular character Pengsoo and his fan club 'Peng Club' have donated 16.3 million won to help children and families affected by wildfires.
The donation will be delivered through the Green Umbrella Child Fund, and will be used to provide daily necessities, food, and clothing to children in care facilities and affected families who have lost their homes due to the wildfires.

The Green Umbrella has been helping the daily recovery of families with affected children since the occurrence of the large-scale wildfires, utilizing its own resources and additional donations.
The donation from Pengsoo and the Peng Club is expected to significantly support these efforts. In particular, Pengsoo has been practicing continuous sharing with fans during socially challenging situations as he celebrates his 6th anniversary.
A representative from the Peng Club stated, "We wanted to convey Pengsoo's message of 'Instead of saying 'Cheer up,' say 'I love you,' and send heartfelt love to the children struggling due to the sudden wildfires." He added, "I hope the joy we received from Pengsoo is conveyed through acts of kindness that embrace the children's pain."

Chairman Hwang Young-ki of the Green Umbrella emphasized, "Children are always the ones who suffer the most during disasters and crises," and expressed gratitude to Pengsoo and the Peng Club for their good-hearted donation to help the children who have lost their homes and are struggling due to the wildfires.
He also assured, "The Green Umbrella will do its utmost to help the daily recovery of affected children and families."
