tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Parole Officer Lee Hanshin' (written by Park Chi-hyung, directed by Yoon Sang-ho) is set to premiere on November 18.
'Parole Officer Lee Hanshin' centers around the character Lee Hanshin (played by Go Soo), a parole officer. While there have been many legal dramas so far, this is the first time a parole officer is the main character.
The poster was also unveiled on the 30th. It shows Lee Hanshin wearing a lawyer's badge and sitting amid a pile of documents. Go Soo displays sharp, charismatic intensity.
The poster's caption grabs attention as well: "Here comes the ironclad officer who stops those trying to get out using money, connections, and trickery." This suggests that inmates aiming for parole will employ money and power.
Lee Hanshin will firmly defend against such attempts. He plans to mercilessly declare ineligibility for villains unqualified for parole.
The production team stated, "Lee Hanshin will block the parole of inmates using all sorts of tricks," and added, "Though he's a lawyer, he stands on the boundary of the law, realizing justice in ingenious ways."
They continued, "The thrilling defensive battle of the parole officer is something unseen in other dramas," and "It will provide viewers with catharsis. Please look forward to it."
