Actor Park Seong-hoon has confirmed his next project. He will meet Han Ji-min in a romance drama.
JTBC's new drama "The Efficient Meeting of Unmarried Men and Women" (written by Lee Yi-jin, directed by Lee Jae-hoon) announced its casting lineup on the 15th. Han Ji-min, Park Seong-hoon, Lee Gi-taek, Jung Hye-sung, and Kim So-hye will be appearing.
"The Efficient Meeting of Unmarried Men and Women" (hereafter referred to as "Unmarried Men and Women") is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a woman finding true love through encounters with two men of contrasting charms.
Han Ji-min plays the role of Lee Ui-young, an assistant in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel. She excels at work but struggles to break out of a romantic stagnation and seeks love through blind dates.
Park Seong-hoon portrays Song Tae-seob, the head of a woodworking studio, who meets Ui-young as a potential blind date. Despite his strong inner self, he becomes swept away by intense emotions through this encounter.
Lee Gi-taek plays Shin Ji-soo, whose personality is the complete opposite of Tae-seob. He unexpectedly meets his destined partner, Ui-young, during a blind date and experiences a gradual transformation as a free-spirited younger man.
In addition, Jung Hye-sung plays Jeong Hyun-min, an employee in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel, showcasing a delightful woman-to-woman relationship with Han Ji-min. Kim So-hye takes on the role of Shim Saebyeok, the youngest member of the purchasing team, challenging herself with an acting transformation.
A representative stated, "Centered around Ui-young, who seeks artificial encounters, a variety of blind date candidates will emerge. It promises a different level of endorphin through modern-day love observation romance."
Meanwhile, "Unmarried Men and Women" is set to premiere next year.
