Actress Park Shin-hye is set to make a dramatic transformation.
SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama "Judge from Hell" (written by Jo Yi-soo, directed by Park Jin-pyo) will premiere on the 21st of next month. On the 16th, a teaser poster of the main character Park Shin-hye (playing Kang Bit-na) was revealed.
Park Shin-hye is holding a dark red flower as if it's soaked in blood. She stares into the camera with unwavering eyes. The contrast between her pale skin and the vivid red color is striking.
The image depicts the form of a demon. The intense imagery is further enhanced by the black winged shadow and purple eyes behind Park Shin-hye. The slogan "Welcome to my world" encapsulates the drama.
"Judge from Hell" is a good-and-evil coexistent cider action fantasy. The demon Kang Bit-na inhabits the body of a judge. In a hellish reality, she meets humane detective Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young) and executes criminals, ultimately becoming a true judge.
The production team stated, "Park Shin-hye will dispose of criminals in her own evil, lovely, and powerful way. She will deliver a cathartic experience. Look forward to her bold acting transformation."
"Judge from Hell" will air its first and second episodes consecutively at 10 PM on the 21st of next month.
