Actors Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee have hinted at a poignant narrative.
On the 18th, Netflix released a special poster for the new series 'Gyeongseong Creature Season 2' (hereinafter 'Gyeongseong Creature 2'). The main characters, wounded, are seen embracing each other.
It spans 79 years. Ho-jae (played by Park Seo-joon) has the same face as Tae-sang from Geumokdang. Chae-ok (played by Han So-hee), who has lived with Na-jin inside her, meets him in the modern day.
It aroused curiosity about their story. The relationship that began in 1945 Gyeongseong continues in 2024 Seoul, hinting at a fateful reunion.
Park Seo-joon said, "(Tae-sang and Ho-jae) are characters with significant transformations. Although I had a lot of concerns while acting, it was fun to try different methods of expression."
Han So-hee added, "In the moments when I faced Ho-jae, I felt a joy and excitement as if I had returned to the time when I found meaning in Chae-ok being alive," raising further expectations.
They also expressed trust in each other. Park Seo-joon stated, "Since we have been working together for a long time since season 1, I relied a lot on my partner."
Han So-hee also said, "The chemistry built over the long filming period goes without saying," adding, "I was able to finish filming thanks to the energy I received from (Park Seo-joon)."
Meanwhile, 'Gyeongseong Creature 2' is a story set in 2024 Seoul, where Ho-jae and Chae-ok delve into their unresolved connections, destinies, and entanglements from Gyeongseong. It will be released on the 27th.
