He claimed that the prosecution is blinded by political revenge, saying, "They couldn't even touch Kim Kun-hee, who has video evidence of receiving real bribes, yet they are prosecuting former President Moon with unfounded claims."

Rep. Park went on to question, "According to the prosecution's logic that they did not provide work that matches their position, aren't all officials of the Yoon Seok-yeol government criminals of bribery?" and systematically refuted the prosecution's argument.

He also added, "The prosecution, which cannot even address existing crimes while fabricating non-existent ones, has no reason to exist anymore."

The Jeonju District Public Prosecutor's Office (Chief Prosecutor Bae Sang-yoon) announced that they have non-custodially indicted former President Moon for violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (bribery). Along with him, former National Assembly member Lee Sang-jik, who is facing allegations of providing bribes to the former President, has also been indicted on the same charges.

Former President Moon is accused of having his son-in-law, Mr. Seo, employed by "Thai Skyjet," which is known to be owned by former lawmaker Lee, between August 2018 and April 2020, and receiving approximately 217 million won in salary and housing expenses from the company.

The prosecution believes that former President Moon gained economic benefits equivalent to the amount by stopping the living expenses he had provided to his daughter Da-hye's family due to Mr. Seo's employment.

This case is set to proceed with judicial procedures at the Seoul Central District Court.
