Actor Park Juwon showcases a transformation in the drama "My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy" (written by Lee Haena, directed by Yoo Kwanmo).
Agency 51K stated on the 29th, "Park Juwon plays the role of 'Choi Yuri' in 'My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy'."
This drama is based on a Naver webtoon of the same name. It tells the romance of girlfriend Kim Ji-eun (played by Arin), who suddenly becomes a handsome man, and her boyfriend Park Yun-jae (played by Yoon Sanha).
Choi Yuri is a romance web novelist in the drama. Although she has no actual dating experience, she is theoretically knowledgeable—a character who is an eternal solo. She appears as the irreplaceable friend of the main character Ji-eun from elementary school.
She is charmingly innocent and sweetly meddlesome. Her unpredictably quirky and vibrant personality is also a highlight. Park Juwon is expected to bring energy to the drama with her role as Choi Yuri.
Park Juwon has shown fresh charm through a variety of works such as "Inspector Koo," "Doctor Cha Jeong-suk," and "It Became Night."
Regarding this project, she said, "The character 'Na-hee' from the previous work (It Became Night) was strong but gentle inside. I am very excited to show a completely different, easygoing, and honest charm in this new project."
Park Juwon continued, "I will do my best in filming to convey Yuri's bright energy and fun character well."
"My Girlfriend is a Tough Guy" started filming in August and is scheduled to air next year.
