Park Jin-joo makes a comeback to the small screen… starring in ‘The Mother of My Daughter’s Friend’

Actor Park Jin-joo is making a comeback to the small screen.

PrainTPC announced on the 6th that "Park Jin-joo has confirmed her appearance in the tvN one-act play series 'O'PENing' episode 'My Daughter's Friend's Mother.'"

'My Daughter's Friend's Mother' is a drama about relationship reversals. It tells the story of a divorced working dad who meets a former subordinate in front of a kindergarten.

Park Jin-joo will play the role of Seon Hee-jin, a working mom raising her son alone. Hee-jin is a character who perseveres with determination, focused solely on her son despite difficult circumstances.

Jeon Sung-woo has been cast in the role of Gi-jun. The two previously worked together in the musical 'Ghost Bakery.' They will showcase their chemistry once again.

The agency stated, "Hee-jin will convey empathy and youthful excitement to the viewers," adding, "Please pay attention to Park Jin-joo's unique character portrayal."

Park Jin-joo has been active in various fields. She has starred in dramas and movies, as well as leading roles in musicals such as 'Maybe Happy Ending' and 'Ghost Bakery.'

With stable acting skills and a multifaceted expressive ability, she has received great love from the public. A representative remarked, "We hope you look forward to what new side she will show."

Meanwhile, 'O'PENing' is set to be released sequentially, starting with 'Cat Six Rights War' on the 17th.
