Actor Park Hyung-sik becomes more mature, revealing a side never seen before. SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Treasure Island' (written by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-gyu) released the first stills of Park Hyung-sik's shoot on the 16th, hinting at a dramatic transformation.
It was a stark contrast to his previous filmography. Park Hyung-sik appeared in a black suit, gazing intently at something, with sharp eyes that sparked curiosity. His mature visuals also caught attention, exuding what can be called a 'grown man' aura. From head to toe, his transformed appearance embarks on a life-betting revenge.
The production team stated, "Park Hyung-sik delivered a fierce and bold performance not seen before. He played the role of the protagonist who leads the drama entirely." They added, "Having to perform differently must have been a challenging venture, and he put in his utmost effort to bring forth a charmingly ambitious character."
'Treasure Island' is a drama about a life-betting revenge, involving a man who hacked a political slush fund account and a secret power broker who unknowingly killed the hacker. Park Hyung-sik takes on the role of Seo Dong-joo, the head of external cooperation at Daesan Group's chairman's secretary's office, fighting with all he's got to bring down the absolute evil that killed him.
Meanwhile, 'Treasure Island' is the follow-up to 'My Perfect Secretary,' and it premieres on the 14th of next month at 10 PM.
