Actors Park Eun-bin and Cha Eun-woo will collaborate as characters with superpowers in a comedy, showcasing new personas. Netflix announced the production of the new series ‘The Wonderfuls’ on the 1st, revealing the cast lineup including Park Eun-bin, Cha Eun-woo, Kim Hae-sook, Choi Dae-hoon, Lim Sung-jae, and Son Hyun-joo.
‘The Wonderfuls’ is set in 1999, during the apocalyptic craze, and follows a group of bumblers who unexpectedly acquire superpowers and fight against villains threatening the peace of Haeseong City.
Director Yoo In-sik, known for ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ and ‘Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim’ is directing, while writer Heo Da-jung, who adapted ‘Extreme Job’, is in charge of the script. Writer Kang Eun-kyung of ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ contributes as a creator.

Park Eun-bin takes on the role of ‘Eun Chae-ni’, Haeseong City’s official troublemaker. A character whose actions are unpredictable, she suddenly gains superpowers one day, promising to deliver a lovely comedic performance.
Cha Eun-woo plays ‘Lee Woon-jeong’, a specially appointed public servant from Seoul lacking social skills. He is principled in the office, yet approaches mysterious serial disappearance cases outside. Kim Hae-sook portrays ‘Kim Jun-bok’, Chae-ni’s grandmother and sole family.
She is the owner of Big Hand Restaurant with a past both glamorous and dark. Choi Dae-hoon joins as Haeseong City’s pest ‘Son Kyung-hoon’, and Lim Sung-jae as Haeseong City’s pushover ‘Kang Ro-bin’. Despite their flawed superpowers, Kyung-hoon and Ro-bin stand with Chae-ni against the villains. Son Hyun-joo takes on the role of ‘Ha Won-do’.
Ha Won-do is a person of cold and rational demeanor with dark desires lurking beneath, expected to add tension to the plot. ‘The Wonderfuls’ is produced by Romance Crew and Kakao Entertainment, with Fantagio co-producing.
