Jang Beom-june will release his new digital single "Apartment" on various music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 13th. He reinterprets the song of the same name originally sung by Yoon Soo-il.
This song is attracting global listeners' attention for the first time in 42 years. The phenomenon started when BLACKPINK's Rosé released a mega-hit new song, which in turn brought attention to the song with the same name.
It has become a "meme" online. Rosé's song is referred to as a newly built apartment, while Yoon Soo-il's song has gained the nickname of an old apartment or original apartment.
Jang Beom-june is joining the trend. He decided to participate in the "Apartment" project. He will add acoustic guitar and rock band sounds to create another charming rendition of the remake.
