Sharp Instincts of the Police Lead to the Arrest of a Thief

Police, who recalled the suspect's appearance, instinctively identified a man passing by on the street as the perpetrator and quickly achieved an arrest.

According to the Seodaemun Police Station on the 24th, police officers patrolling a residential area received a directive from the 112 Situation Room to conduct a thorough search for a suspect involved in a nearby theft.

The information provided to the police at the time was limited. The suspect was described as having dyed hair and wearing black clothes, having snatched the victim's bag and fled towards the riverbank.

The suspect, who committed the theft in Eunpyeong District, only took the valuables from the bag and escaped to Seodaemun District.

The police identified the probable escape route of the suspect and began their search.

Instinctively Apprehending the Criminal

Suddenly, a man with a similar appearance to the suspect brushed past one of the police officers. It was a fleeting moment, but the officer, observing the man closely, apprehended him for questioning.

Ultimately, the man confessed to the crime and was arrested by the police about 20 minutes after the theft occurred.
