Actress Oh Yeon-ah has made a dramatic transformation, exploding with artistic madness in the film “The Killers” (directed by Jang Hang-jun). “The Killers” is inspired by the short story by Ernest Hemingway and features four prominent Korean directors presenting their unique narratives.

Oh Yeon-ah stars in the third segment, “Everyone Waits for Him,” directed by Jang Hang-jun, playing the role of Yuhwa, a tavern owner, adding tension to the film. The story unfolds with the theme of waiting for someone, set in 1979, as people gather at her tavern awaiting a notorious killer. The mysterious killer is identified by a daffodil tattoo on the left shoulder.

Yuhwa displays unease among the characters, exhibiting a chilling demeanor. She exudes an alluring yet dangerous aura and enhances the mysterious mood with inexplicable actions, earning acclaim for her captivating charm. Notably, Oh Yeon-ah returns to the screen with “The Killers” after about seven years, raising anticipation for her daring transformation, following impressive performances in “Asura,” “Ordinary Person,” and more.

Meanwhile, “The Killers” was released on the 23rd.
