Oh My Girl’s Hyojung selected as DJ for ‘Turn Up the Volume’ radio show

Hyojung of 'Oh My Girl' will host a radio show.

On the 13th, WM Entertainment announced, "Hyojung has been selected as the DJ for KBS Cool FM's 'Turn Up the Volume with Oh My Girl Hyojung.' She will meet listeners every evening at 8 PM."

'Turn Up the Volume' is a flagship KBS radio program that has been loved for nearly 30 years since its first broadcast in 1995. Hyojung will step up to continue communication following Chungha.

PD Oh Gwi-na expressed anticipation for the new host, stating, "Hyojung's bright energy and charm, which spans various generations, will become a vitalizing force for Cool FM."

Hyojung also shared her thoughts on being selected as a radio DJ. She began, "I can't believe I have become the DJ of a program that bears my name. It's really amazing."

She promised a comfortable broadcast. She conveyed her wish, saying, "I want to be an 8 PM mate who gifts comfort for tomorrow by letting go of the day's tensions."

Hyojung debuted as the leader of Oh My Girl in 2015. Since then, she has achieved hits with songs like 'Secret Garden,' 'The Fifth Season,' 'Nonstop,' and 'Dun Dun Dance.'

She showcased her exceptional hosting skills on various entertainment programs, including as the MC for KBS-2TV's 'New Release, The Convenience Store Restaurant,' JTBC's 'The Last Love,' and Channel A's 'The Shortening Secretaries.'

Meanwhile, 'Turn Up the Volume with Oh My Girl Hyojung' will premiere on the 25th at 8 PM.
