Oh My Girl is set to release a special single to commemorate their 10th anniversary.
On the 9th at 6 PM, Oh My Girl will drop their special single "Oh My" across various music platforms. This release encapsulates their musical journey over the past 10 years.
"Oh My" features a groovy bass, choppy sounds, and elements of future electronic instruments. The song blends an easy-to-sing melody with harmonized rap.
The witty lyrics are particularly eye-catching, with a metaphor comparing the deepening relationship between two people to the depths of the ocean. There are also traces reminding listeners of Oh My Girl's hit songs throughout.
The lyrics were penned by songwriter Seo Ji-eum, known for works like "The Fifth Season," "Secret Garden," and "Fireworks." Mimi also contributed to the rap lyrics.
The music video is special as well, featuring a concept where Oh My Girl throws a party. It includes hidden elements that strengthen their bond with their fans, known as Miracles.
This marks Oh My Girl's return with a new song after about seven months, following the release of their 10th mini album "Dreamy Resonance" in August of last year.
