NMIXX appeared on the American radio public broadcasting YouTube channel, marking the first achievement for a K-pop girl group. NPR (National Public Radio) Music uploaded a video of NMIXX's "Tiny Desk Korea" on their official YouTube channel on the 6th. This video features a live performance they conducted last September. During the performance, NMIXX filled the stage with vocals accompanied only by band music, and the performance was released without any post-editing.
They performed a total of five songs, beginning with "Love Me Like This," followed by "DASH," "Run For Roses," and "별별별." Member Haewon expressed satisfaction, saying, "This is the first time singing without wearing in-ear monitors and the first time performing in a tiny setting. It’s fun and makes me happy."
NPR Music shared this content on their American channel four months later, making NMIXX the first girl group to be featured in a "Tiny Desk Korea" content. They continue to expand their activities on the global stage, having participated in Billboard Latin Music Week last October as the first K-pop artist. Their endeavors this year are also drawing attention.
Meanwhile, "Tiny Desk Korea" is a live performance content featuring musicians and band sessions.
