NiziU embarks on capturing the preferences of the Japanese archipelago. JYP Entertainment announced on the 8th, “NiziU will release their first mini-album ‘AWAKE’ on the 5th of next month.” They are officially beginning their activities in Japan.

NiziU will pre-release the title track ‘YOAKE’ and its music video at midnight on the 8th. They are setting the stage for their comeback with a preview of sensuous music. This song captures the growth of the members as they move toward a broader world. It is characterized by a somewhat wistful melody. It boasts addictiveness.

The music video immediately captures attention with the charming performances of the nine members. Their elegant dancing skills and delicate emotional acting complete a rich narrative.

NiziU made a significant impact in Japan last year. They won two awards at the ‘Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024’ and received the Artist of the Year award at ‘2024 TMA’. With their first EP album ‘RISE UP’ in Japan, they topped the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and Billboard Japan’s Weekly Album ‘Top Album Sales’ category, proving their popularity.

This year also promises diverse activities. On the 6th, they revealed the ‘NiziU We need U 2025’ video on their official SNS, unveiling their project. They announced a range of activities including the release of a new album, overseas activities, collaborations, their fourth live tour, birthday content, and a new reality show.

They have even planned the announcement of a new logo. Since November last year, NiziU has been hosting their first winter tour ‘NiziU Live with U 2024-2025 Awake’ in eight cities across Japan. The tour consists of 18 performances.

Starting with Tokyo on the 8th-9th and 11th-12th, they will visit Osaka on the 21st-22nd, Miyagi on February 8th-9th, Aichi on the 15th-16th, and Fukuoka on the 22nd-23rd.
