Jaehyun from 'NCT' revealed the behind-the-scenes of his first solo album production.

On the 27th, SM Entertainment uploaded a video titled 'The Journey of J' on NCT's official SNS. It included the production process of Jaehyun's first solo album 'J.'

First, Jaehyun explained the direction of his new album. "I wanted to make an album that best represents who I am right now. I think a lot of my thoughts are reflected in it," he said.

Regarding the title track 'Smoke,' he expressed his satisfaction, saying, "I conveyed my unique color. I expressed well the attractions that have been inside me but haven't been shown until now."

He also put a lot of effort into the music video. Jaehyun added, "Each shot has its own meaning. There's nothing cliché. It harmonizes subtly with the song."

He shared tips for enjoying the album tracks. "To make an album that represents me as much as possible, I thought of each song's image differently."

Lastly, Jaehyun expressed his hopes, saying, "There are many things I want to do and share. I think it would be good to continue doing them."

He confessed sincerely, "I hope I can do well the things I like and want to show at each moment. That means I have to work hard and do well."

Meanwhile, Jaehyun released 'J' on the 26th. The album topped China's QQ Music 'Digital Album Sales Chart.'
