NCT WISH has been nominated for 'Best New Artist' at a prestigious American music awards ceremony. On the 22nd (local time), iHeartRadio announced the nominee list for the '2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.' NCT WISH was listed in the 'Best New Artist' (K-pop) category.
The 'iHeartRadio Music Awards' is a music awards show hosted by iHeartRadio since 2014, recognizing the artists and songs most played across their stations over the past year. The event is scheduled for March.
NCT WISH debuted in February last year, releasing their first single 'Wish,' followed by their second single 'Songbird,' their first mini-album 'Steady,' and their Japanese studio album 'WISHFUL.'
The group promotes the catchphrase "WISH for Our WISH," leaving a refreshing impression with their hopeful music and energetic performances.
'Steady' surpassed 800,000 pre-orders, marking the highest figure for a debut artist in 2024. The group won a Rookie Award at a local awards ceremony and topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking with 'WISHFUL'.
Meanwhile, on the 22nd, NCT WISH released a remake of Super Junior's hit song 'Miracle.' They are also scheduled to perform on KBS-2TV's 'Music Bank' on the same day.
