'NCT' Mark has dominated global charts with his first solo album. Mark released his first solo album 'The Firstfruit' on the 7th. The new release topped the Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart 'Retail Album' chart.
The title track '1999' has also gained popularity. It claimed the number one spot on the Bugs real-time chart immediately after its release and reached third place on Melon's 'Hot 100' chart 30 days after release.
His international activities are also noteworthy. 'The Firstfruit' topped the 'Digital Album Sales' chart on China's QQ Music. It also reached the number one spot on Japan's AWA Rising chart.
But that's not all. The album has ranked number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 14 regions/countries worldwide, including Brazil, Chile, Vietnam, Russia, and Thailand.
It secured second place on the worldwide chart, just behind pop stars Elton John and Brandi Carlile's new releases, making it into the top two on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.
On the same day the album was released, Mark held a debut showcase at the FB Theater in Seongsu Cultural and Art Center in Seoul, where he performed '1999' and several other tracks.
He expressed, "This album contains my genuine feelings. Through a long period of work, I've come to know myself better. I hope it resonates meaningfully with you."
He left a message for his fans, saying, "I was really nervous, but thank you for your support," and added, "This is the start of my activities. I’ll give it my all, so please keep watching."
Meanwhile, on the 8th, Mark launched the Apple Music radio show 'on your MARK.'
